The chapter is mostly talking.
Naruto punches Yondaime for putting 9-Tails in him but after talking he’s satisfied.
Naruto asks for help in answering Pain’s question. Yondaime says Naruto will be able to find the answer.
Pain is being used by Madara who was behind the 9-Tails attack 16 years ago. Naruto realizes Tobi=Madara.
Naruto is ask Why did you seal the nine-tails in me, your own son?! (something like that, hard to tell without
the full bubble.)
Naruto uses Sennin-mode to escape the sphere and Nagato comments that Naruto is back to himself.
Extra stuff: Yondaime fixes the 9-Tails seal on Naruto stomach and is alive inside Naruto’s consciousness and thus knows Jiraiya is dead.

Translation:Looks like Minato knew that Madara was behind the Kyuubi attack and that Naruto fought him as Tobi or something like that. The later part I added is about Minato could hear about Jiraiya's death in Naruto's consciousness. Then Minatos fixes the seal and is low on chakra and leaves(?). by: MH

Black Curtain/黒幕/kuromaku
literally Black Curtain but the meaning is Yondaime is talking about the one who is REALLY in control of Akatsuki. the manipulative masked man behind the scenes... Madara. "Black Curtain" is a figurative phrase in Japanese language, but I have translated literally because the cover seems to show two masked Madaras who are wearing a cloak that looks like a black curtain.
And finally this is just my opinion but it seems like an organisation above Akatsuki is being introduced called Kuromaku. Just think who are the members, probably Danzou and other old people ;-)
Disclaimer: if the word 黒幕 was only used by the spoiler writer but not Kishimoto then this theory completely fails :P

It kinda feels like this deeply emotional father-and-son talk will continue in the next issue.

Team Gai & Neji stares at the rock floating in the sky. "This is inconceivable"
A man similar to Orochimaru(Nagato?), he is coughing up blood.
Minato accounted for the seal he used not working. Activates new seal to keep the kyuubi in check.

Face to face (Minato and Naruto stand side by side: A genius of a life time. His legendary skills extend back to the 3rd Shinobi War. The man who gave his life to stop the Kyuubi in its tracks, now faces his son, The Child of Prophecy.)
(The Kyuubi sticks its claws out of the cage trying to grasp for Naruto. Minato gives the Kyuubi a stare back.)
“So close, this blond haired freak of all things. Just like that Madara, leaves a morbid taste in my mouth,” said Kyuubi.
(Naruto looks at the 4th Hokage with awe.)
“My father,” said Naruto. (Minato looks down.) “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there, what with you having to carry the burden of the Kyuubi on you shoulders, I know it must have been tough, but I was sure you could handle it,” said Minato.
(Naruto cracks a slight smile)
“So cool, my father is the 4th Hokage. The pervy sage was right, I look just like you. All I want to know, is how are you here, and where were you all this time,” asked Naruto.
(Naruto has a concerned face, Minato smiles a bit.)
“Pervy Sage, ha, ha, Jiraiya’s ways hasn’t changed yet. So how is the good man,” asked Minato. (Naruto looks down) “I see. Naruto I wish I could learn more about your life, but there are more important matters. Your seal has been broken. Considering the circumstances, I’m assuming the threat you are facing is extremely severe,” said Minato.
(Switch Scene to Pain’s location)
“Naruto forcefully pushed the 9 tails chakra out further, Chibaku Tensei will be ineffective from now on. One thing has been puzzling me since it broke free of my jutsu. Why is it just sitting there, there must be some kind of internal battle between the host and beast,” said Pain.
(Switch Scene to Nagato’s location)
“What should we do? Your body has reached its limits, I won’t lose you and Yahiko,” said Konan. “Right now it seems the Kyuubi is having difficulty executing its actions. We’ll use this time to plan our next move. I’ll need a lot of chakra for this, Konan, lend a hand,” said Nagato.
(Switch Scene to Yamato’s location)
“Its back to eight, the seal must be stabilizing. Still, even if it is Naruto still fighting, I have to help him revert,” said Yamato.
(Switch Scene to Konoha)
“There’s eight tails,” said Hyuuga. “Yes, the Kyuubi is pretty much released,” said another Hyuuga. “What? Katsuyu, notify the villagers, we’re going underground,” said Sakura.
(Switch Scene back to Naruto and Minato)
“How did you manage this far without the Key,” asked Minato. “What Key,” asked Naruto. “It seems he hadn’t been informed, it must be sheer will alone astonding” said Minato. (Minato does a few hand seals and summons Gerotora.)
“Minato, how the hell are you,” asked Gerotora. “Not now. I’ll explain. This Toad has a special print matching the Hakke Seal, this is called your seal’s Key,” said Minato. “Now that you mention it, I do remember the pervy sage saying something brief about it,” said Naruto.
“With this locked in place, I can revert the seal back to its original form, however, the flip side is also true. Long as this Key is locked in place with your seal, the Kyuubi’s chakra will be that much easier to be accessible. You have to balance the seal out to your liking if you don’t want to transform into the Kyuubi that is.
Once the Key is on you, its permanent, this will stop the seal from deteriorating. The Key allows you to potentially tune up or tune down the degree of Kyuubi’s chakra flowing within you.
This Key completes your seal, and the components of a new jutsu will be revealed to you in your consciousness. Use that to stop your threat. Sorry Naruto, you’ll have to endure just a little longer,” said Minato. (Minato unravels the “Key” as Gerotora vanishes. He wraps it around Naruto.)
“ARRGGH,” yelled Naruto. “I know it burns, but this will calm things down. Once you revert back to your original state, use “That Jutsu” end it my son, I leave everything in your hands,” said Minato.
(Outside the Kyuubi is reverting)
“So, he is suppressing the beasts’ chakra. Without it, he does not stand a chance in his current state,” said Pain.

Naruto stares in shock at the fourth.
Naruto: “Your son? How is it even possible for you to be here?”
Minato looks at naruto and a tear comes to his eye.
“Minato it was a sacrifice that had to be made.”
A flashback image occurs as we see minato standing a distance away on the back of gamabunta.
Minato: “If this scroll works as I have figured, the fox will be utterly stopped from attacking konoha. Its destiny directly tied to the fate of my son.”
Gamabunta looks up at minato.
Gambunta: “But at what cost? Your life? Your soul? Surely there has to be another way.”
Minato looks down at a nearby hut with a damaged roof. Inside we see kushina and Sarutobi hovering over naruto working on the last of the seal.
Minato: “There is no other way.”
Minato does a series of hand signs and the reaper appears near the scroll.
Minato: “I call fourth the reaper of souls to make a trade. Half of my soul and half of the soul of the kyubi in exchange for the other halves of our souls sealed within my son in that hut there.”
The reaper turns to look at the fox which is at the edge of konoha’s gates. A ghostly hand reaches from its mouth and strikes the fox in the chest. The fox shudders in horror as its eyes widen in shock. The reaper turns and looks at Minato. Another ghostly hand shoots out and hits minato in the chest. He screams in shock and collapses to his knees. He looks up one last time and we see through his eyes half of his soul floating away along with the kyubi’s soul towards the hut. Inside the hut, kushina and sarutobi watches as the new seal on naruto begins to spin. The fox’s soul and minato’s soul slowly are drawn into it before vanishing entirely. Kushina then collapses and starts crying.
Kushina: “What have we done? My husband? My son? Both sacrificed to protect the village.”
Sarutobi: “It had to be done. Look at this as a gift. Your son will always carry within the heart of his father to guide and protect him.”
Kushina looks at naruto and starts crying as he awakens.
Kushina: “I cant take this. Im leaving the village. I entrust naruto and the body of minato to your capable hands.”
Sarutobi: “I will care for them well. I promise.”
Kushina: “Leave me now so I may spend some last minutes with my son alone before I leave.”
Sarutobi walks out of the hut and heads towards the body of minato still laying on gamabunta’s back. He picks up the scroll and puts in the case. Gamabunta looks up at sarutobi.
Gamabunta: “He died well to save us. I will inform the other frogs to build a shrine in honor of his sacrifice.”
Sarutobi looks at the hut and at the fallen minalto.
Sarutobi: “On the promise of my life minato and yours, I promise I will serve and protect this village to my final days. I will protect it once again as the third hokage. I will also watch over your son as you requested. He shall be remembered as the savior of konoha.”
Naruto stumbles back at the enormity of what he has seen. Minato smiles at naruto who gets up with a look of surprise.
Minato: “As you can see naruto. There is no need for you to break that seal. For I shall always be with you and watching over you. Now it is time you truly finished pain once and for all.”
Naruto: “But I have nothing left. Im no match for this pain.”
Minato: “You have forgotten something though. Something that pain has no idea you still have.”
Naruto: “The shadow clone?! I still have enough for one last use of sage chakra.”
Minato: “Always remember naruto. As long as there those who will sacrifice themselves for the lives of others, there will always be great ninja. Even though death may claim the lives of many of the greatest. A new generation will take its place. Each working hard to create a better life for the generation to come and to honor the sacrifices of those who came before. Honor me and all those before you naruto. Go show pain the true power of the hidden leaf village.”
Devi Pain stares at the dust storm of the reminds of the chibiku tensei. As the dust storm clears from a wind blow, naruto is revealed in sage mode. Then another naruto is shown. Then another. Until the wind blows away the last of the dust to reveal that devi pain is surrounded by not one but thousands of naruto clones. Nagato’s eye widen in shock at what he is seeing before him.

2. NARUTO - for the very first time GOT TO KNOW HIS FATHER!!!

Yondaime: I made the seal such that when it's on the brink of being released I would appear in your mind. Though I don't want this to happen, because I don't want to see you again...Kyuubi. But I'm glad to see my grown up son...so things even out.- * How would you think Naruto would react to this sudden revelation? He grew up knowing that he is alone - yet he is in fact the son of his favorite Hokage!!
- * Would this revelation inspire Naruto more and be able to control the Kyuubi eventually?
3. NARUTO is now an 8-TAIL KYUUBI!!!!!

Why is it that Naruto transforms into 2-tails, 4-tails, 6-tails and 8-tails?Why did he skip the 3-tail (was this with Jiraiya?)? 5-tails? 7-tails?
4. Will Naruto get an INSTANT lesson and be taught on how to ACTUALLY CONTROL the Kyuubi??
5. We all know how the 4th Hokage died - exactly the same as how the 3rd Hokage died . It is because of the FUUIN JUTSU (Sealing Technique). "In exchange for this jutsu to work -- you hand over your soul to death". But this is not what happened in Chapter 439. Does this mean that the SARUTOBI can possibly be still alive?? This is just a thought - go ahead prove me wrong.

6. CHIBAKU TENSEI - Nagato's Ultimate Jutsu FAILED!!- * What will Nagato do now that his best technique proved to be a failure to Naruto/8-tail Kyuubi?
- * The powerful Pein will eventually be a failure. There is no way Nagato can defeat Naruto especially now that Naruto will eventually get hold of himself.
- * Maybe - just maybe, Konan will help him - but Konan will be no match at all!
7. According to YAMATO - it is already 9-TAILS!!
* For me it means that Yamato is of no use now. It is too late for him to reach Naruto. Good thing Yondaime was there!

We see Pain looking at Kyuubi trying to break free. "This.. this isn't possible!" Nagato yells in despair as Deva Pain takes distance. "The fox's power.. such a strong force.. it's breaking free.."
Kyuubi's skeleton has fully developed, muscles are being covered in fur, the fox is taking it's final form. It's growing, larger than the 'moon' that Pain created. A loud roar and Kyuubi breaks free from the grip of the moon. It stands on top of it. Growling and looking at Pain. All nine tails have formed, Kyuubi is completely released.
Nagato squints his eyes, blood keeps gushing from his nose, his eyes start to bleed. "You will die if you keep this up.. Nagato.." Konan stands to his side. "Even for you.. to summon this amount of chakra.. look at what's left of you. You're eating away at your own body.. please.. stop..!" Nagato glances at her, "Shut up I said..!" and right away, Konan collapses.
Meanwhile, Kyuubi wrapped its nine tails around the moon, crushing it. The gravitational pull of the moon disappears. Debris, trees, rocks.. all falls down to the earth. A loud roar, an explosion - supernova style - and the moon is destroyed. Kyuubi lands on the ground. It stands in the middle of the large forest surrounding Konoha. It's face close to the ground, staring intently at Pain.
Kyuubi suddenly starts talking. "You..!" Pain takes a few steps back. "What..?" Kyuubi: "What are you doing here.. you're dead.." Pain: "How do you.." Kyuubi: "Yondaime.. Hokage!!" Pain: ".."
Kyuubi closes it's eyes and it's fur starts to fall off, going up in chakra, leaking into the ground. It roars. Muscles remain, bones sticking out, each being stripped off the body, shrinking, leaving only the black shroud of chakra coated blood. Naruto remains. In the middle of a pile of black scorched earth, Naruto stands. Fully healed. Fully lucid. Determined.
Naruto: "Forgiveness."
Pain: "..." - "That.. is your answer?"
Naruto: "I will forgive anyone. Everyone."
Pain: "Forgiveness..?" - "All you could come up with is forgiveness..?"
Pain sticks his hand out. Pointing towards Konoha.
Pain: "Would you be able to forgive the one that did all that?"
Naruto: "Just a moment ago.. no." - "But.."
Naruto turns his head, looking at what remains of Konoha in the distance.
In the horizon, smoke rises up to the sky, clouding the moon.
Naruto: "What is destroyed can be rebuilt. The dead will be honored."
Pain: "..."
Naruto: "And, " he looks at Pain, "enemies could become friends."
Pain: "That.. is a noble goal. But impossible.."
Naruto: "For you.. yes."
Pain: "Let's finish this, then.. Uzumaki Naruto."
Naruto grabs something out of his back pocket. "My name is Namikaze Naruto." He brings his hand in front of him. He holds in front of him a kunai.
It's a special kunai.

Yondaime Hokage foresaw something, and ripped the chakra of the Kyubi sealing, only half in his son.
None know the true nature and powers of the seal. I guess there are three main aspects of this sealing.
1. Minato was buying time.
2. The Kyubi could seize permanent control over Naruto.
3. The sealing technique is linked to the Uchiha clan.
Kyubi’s dark and light halves Yondaime Hokage gave up his life when he sealed the Yang chakra of the Kyubi in Naruto, while the Yin was given to the God of Death. But, why did Minato do such a thing? No creature “can survive without yin or yang”, according to the oriental philosophy. Therefore, Yondaime sealing technique bound Kyubi’s existence to Naruto’s life. Kyubi will die if Naruto is killed; hence for his own sake Kyubi helped Naruto in the past.
Yondaime sacrifice was meant to buy some time for his Village and his son.
The Kyubi could break free Yin and Yang are meant to interact and evolve one into the other (day turns into night and vice versa). Life always seeks balance. Therefore the Kyubi chakra won’t remain in the same state. Kyubi is growing stronger within Naruto. The seal is weakening. Three years ago Kyubi first tempted Naruto with his power, and barely assumed the shadowed figure of a fox with 3 tails. Now without Naruto’s request Kyubi took over Naruto and transformed into a 6 tailed form with bones. How much time does Kyubi need to gain flesh, 9 tails, and completely take over Naruto? If this happens, there won’t be going back. Kyubi will posses Naruto’s body and take it as his own.
Pein forced Naruto to transform.
I suppose that Akatsuki needs the Kyubi to break his chains and take over Naruto, or to at least get him near that point. They need the bijuu to have dark and light chakra before they seal it in the statue. Otherwise they would have captured Naruto long ago. read more...

I demand flashbacks of Naruto's family awesomeness

I am hoping for some Kushina bits in there and because we are in Naruto's mind we can hope to see a image of her in action. I also hope Naruto doesn't overreact and is all surprised but just handles it calmly like a man like he did with Jiraiya's death.
I aslo predict we are heading for a Pain retreat for two main reasons:
1) He is exhausted and cannot hope to have the Kyuubi sealed right now. Obviously he would have a second go because Naruto won't let him get away.
2) Konoha is after him and this would make for a strategical retreat because he would be overwhelmed by the mere number of fodders.
.I am hoping for some Kushina bits in there and because we are in Naruto's mind we can hope to see a image of her in action. I also hope Naruto doesn't overreact and is all surprised but just handles it calmly like a man like he did with Jiraiya's death.

Kyuubi will try to poison Naruto's mind in some way in order to have him remove the seal. Maybe he'll accuse Minato of abandoning Naruto and being the source of his childhood misery.
How Naruto responds will depend on how willing he is to take Minato's advice... I'm guessing Naruto will be receptive to Minato because he's desperate for a way out that doesn't involve releasing Kyuubi completely, and he doesn't have time to feel sorry for himself right now.
Pain/Nagato will continue to weaken while Nagato continues his suicidal assault and Konan will continue to beg him to stop.
Now that Naruto knows the truth of his paternity - from his own father no less, he could ask some of the others who knew about it to fill in the blanks. There's no reason to keep it a secret anymore.

The 4th & naruto is gonna haf a very imp conversation with an emotional touch which will finally help naruto to find an answer to pains question about hatred & thus finally taking the decision of the destined child.
Now the decision according to me should lead to the battle towards defeating pain!
There are possibilities of naruto changing into having a completly new attitide & a more serious person!
other points:
- 4th cannot help naruto physically but can only give emotional support n that too for a lil time
- the return of kakashi (later) has become high because this proves the possibility of kakashi's meeting with his dad a subconscious stage
- naruto might learn something new from minato (yellow flash technique?!)

The Main Secret of the Kyubi
Yondaime Hokage foresaw something, and ripped the chakra of the Kyubi sealing, only half in his son.
None know the true nature and powers of the seal. I guess there are three main aspects of this sealing. One, Minato was buying time. Second, the Kyubi could seize permanent control over Naruto. Third, the sealing technique is linked to the Uchiha clan. Kyubi’s dark and light halves Yondaime Hokage gave up his life when he sealed the Yang chakra of the Kyubi in Naruto, while the Yin was given to the God of Death. But, why did Minato do such a thing? No creature “can survive without yin or yang”, according to the oriental philosophy. Therefore, Yondaime sealing technique bound Kyubi’s existence to Naruto’s life. Kyubi will die if Naruto is killed; hence for his own sake Kyubi helped Naruto in the past.
Yondaime sacrifice was meant to buy some time for his Village and his son.
The Kyubi could break free Yin and Yang are meant to interact and evolve one into the other (day turns into night and vice versa). Life always seeks balance. Therefore the Kyubi chakra won’t remain in the same state. Kyubi is growing stronger within Naruto. The seal is weakening. Three years ago Kyubi first tempted Naruto with his power, and barely assumed the shadowed figure of a fox with 3 tails. Now without Naruto’s request Kyubi took over Naruto and transformed into a 6 tailed form with bones. How much time does Kyubi need to gain flesh, 9 tails, and completely take over Naruto? If this happens, there won’t be going back. Kyubi will posses Naruto’s body and take it as his own.
Pein forced Naruto to transform.
I suppose that Akatsuki needs the Kyubi to break his chains and take over Naruto, or to at least get him near that point. They need the bijuu to have dark and light chakra before they seal it in the statue. Otherwise they would have captured Naruto long ago.
Minato’s hopes Yondaime hoped that Konoha would see Naruto as their hero.
He probably had more in mind than the Village being grateful with a kid because he became a jinchuriki. Yondaime foresaw the fight that Naruto will have with the Kyubi, and leave things in a way that his son will have the help he needs to win over the monster.
1. Minato bought time in which Naruto was expected to master Senjutsu.
As his father and godfather did. This art forced Naruto to achieve the very accurate control over yin and yang chakra because Senjutsu requires three equals part of yin/dark/spiritual, yang/light/physical and nature energy, otherwise the user turns into a frog. Naruto has gained the ability to suppress Kyubi’ chakra thanks to the scroll of the seal’s key and the senjutsu training. The main proof of this is that Naruto has seen through Pein’s genjutsu.
Until now Naruto was a total failure at genjutsu
Because it is pure yin (dark spiritual energy), and until now Naruto had extra yang chakra (from the Kyubi) mixed with his own. Chiyo sealed the whole Shukaku in Gaara, and the beast blood thirsty temperament almost consumed Gaara during his childhood. If Minato had sealed the whole Kyubi, Naruto would have been consumed by the monster, long ago. But now, Naruto is close to facing a fully formed Kyubi, will his new abilities be enough to force the Kyubi back to the cage?
2. Yamato was already 10 years old and a chunin with 4 years of experience, when the Kyubi was sealed.
Minato could have seen mokuton in action and hoped that Yamato would grow strong enough to control bijuu. The Hirashima’s necklace allowed Yamato’s special mokuton jutsu to control the Kyubi, or made it stronger. The bijuu has now apparently destroyed the necklace, taking away Yamato’s chances to help. If Yamato is to succeed this time, it will probably be at a great cost.
3. Minato also could have entrusted the Uchiha clan with the mission to make at least one of them a MS user to control the Kyubi.
Konoha’s upper class knew about the Uchiha’s potential, otherwise Danzou and his gang wouldn’t have blamed them for the attack. By the time of the attack the Uchiha clan was well renowned. But back them only the forsaken Madara was strong enough to control the Kyubi. If Minato entrusted such a mission to the Uchiha this could have arose Danzou suspicions and fear to this clan’s power, causing the massacre 7 or 8 years later.
The Uchiha clan is and the Kyubi are connected by an unbreakable chain.
For good or ill this connection will be crucial. The Uchiha and the Kyubi Apparently the Mangekyou Sharingan (MS) is the only power that can tame the full powered Kyubi. I wonder if Madara wanted Sasuke to join Akatsuki in order to control the Kyubi once it takes over Naruto. Pein is apparently is helping the Kyubi to take over Naruto. Also, Madara said the Sasuke’s eyes “will be better” than Itachi’s. Was he planning for this moment? Will Sasuke come to control the Kyubi? Will he capture Naruto or help him? Madara can’t or doesn’t want to control the Kyubi by himself . He used it against Hashirama but lost. I suppose the EMS doesn’t have the same level of control over Kyubi; or Madara don’t want to suffer from more side effects. Shared Destiny If the Kyubi dies the Uchihas will lose the Sharingan, or their above average chakra levels, or even die out. This is the only answer that I can find to Kyubi’s menace. The Bijuu threatened Sasuke, “don’t kill Naruto or you will regret it” he said, in other words “don’t kill me or you will regret it”. There are many possibilities for this relationship.
All of the kekkei genkais can be linked to the Bijuus.
But I believe the Uchiha helped Minato to seal the Kyubi in Naruto, and through this act, bound the bijuu’s destiny The kanji for fox, and the symbol of the nine tails were present at the Uchiha’s hideous, were Itachi and Sasuke held their final battle. Sasuke face now the curse of the MS, is falling into darkness, (as much)[the more] he uses his eyes faster he will become blind and mad. Worse than that, the MS also consumes the life of it user (that was Itachi’s illness). There are only three secure ways out of the MS’s curse: a) like Madara take the MS of another Uchiha (Itachi’s); b) Like Izuna (Madara’s brother) give up the eyes ( Izuna died in battle after he became a blind shinobi); or c) Die like Itachi. But maybe Sasuke can get rid of his power and the curse if he fights the Kyubi. What will happen with Kyubi, Naruto and Sasuke?
